Development Concepts, Inc. was part of a team that prepared a Town Center Master Plan for Rockville, Maryland, a Washington DC suburb. The Plan focused on a mixture of uses, a unique sense of place, opportunities for partnerships, and implementation. This included a fiscal impact analysis that determined over $100 million of private investment could be leveraged with only $20 million in public investment.
Much of the Town Center has since been built, and represents a highly successful model of public-private partnership and transit oriented development. The Plan has resulted in over $300 million in private investment, the creation of 650 residential units, and nationally recognized retail & restaurants.
