Strategic Economic Development Plan
Crawford County, Indiana
Development Concepts worked with a team to create the Crawford County Economic Development Plan. This Plan addressed the many economic challenges facing the predominately rural County, including a limited tax base, a dwindling employment market, and a challenged higher education system.
DCI analyzed regional employment and market trends to assess the County’s strengths and weaknesses. The Plan included a demographic and market overview, a project implementation program, which provided specific strategies and development sites throughout the County, and outlined implementation tools.
